Ben and Louis were absolutely fantastic when working on my Ford Explorer ST. They completed a fluid change on the front and rear differentials, the transfer case and the transmission. Also installing a PPE aluminum transmission pan and a AWR rear differential brace. While this may seem like a relatively simple service, anyone who is familiar with the Ford (10R60 or 10R80) 10 speed transmissions knows how incredibly sensitive they are to fluid levels. They have to be filled with ULV fluid, which needs to be between 206-217 degrees in order to get an accurate measurement and as little as a cup of fluid high or low can result in erratic shifting and other issues. The guys at Hamlet went the extra mile to ensure that everything on my vehicle, including the finicky transmission were 💯 good to go. I am beyond grateful to have found this place!! Ben is a great mechanic and a very professional buisness owner. I have an 18 year old Honda Element that I am hoping to get 300K out of. She has 205K. He basically helped save my transmission with replacing the torque converter. He also replaced the rear seal, the manifold hose and the VCA valve and hose. He also gave me honest feedback on other questions I had about my car, concerning repairs. This place is a Gem!! Thank-you Ben and staff!! I found him through a lady I met, who also has a Honda Element. We just happened to have a conversation about our cars and out of the blue she told me who she went to.

I have never left a review so I have a lot to say. I’ve been coming to Hamlet Automotive for a few years now and have always had a great experience. They’ve helped me with AC work and a tune-up, among other small things and every time the service has been honest, reliable, and done right. One thing I really appreciate is that they never try to sell me stuff I don't need like the dealership does. I even asked about getting my brakes done, thinking it was part of the tune-up, and they let me know that I had plenty of brake pad left and there was no need to change them instead of trying to charge me for something I didn’t need. That kind of honesty is hard to find. They are always fast, Ben takes the time to explain everything so I understand it, and the pricing is fair. I always leave feeling confident in the work that was done. It’s such a relief to have a shop I can truly trust. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dependable and honest mechanic. Ben is the best. His team is great too. I refer them to everyone I know that needs any repairs done.
